Mass Stranding of Pilot Whales: Over 80 Found Dead

There are no survivors from the latest mass whale stranding on Tasmania's west coast.Authorities were alerted to the stranding of between 80 and 100 long-finned pilot whales on a rocky stretch of Sandy Cape yesterday. The deaths come only a week after than 60 whales of the same species became stranded at Anthony's Beach.
